The Tree is live! #3
Well another day passes and now I've added a basic Sayers Family tree to the site, it is a bit minimal having only direct ancestors and very little detail, but for now I'm confident it at least 85% accurate.
The photo above is Bertie Sayers my Grandfather, this photo shows him racing in a tournament of Autocross or grass track racing. The car was built by Bertie and he won the 1966 UK championship, The Players No.6 Championship.
He was aged 58 when he won, his opponents included Roger Clark
Our family followed Grandad that season as he battled to win not only on the track but also in the pits doing all or most of his own maintenance.
They even made a film of the seasons races and I do have a digital version of it, and might post some clips.
